Abstract
This study includes the explanations of the school of modern mental for the
signs of the doomsday in the holy Qur'an and studying them critically, so
the study has a great importance since it concerns two sciences which are:
science of interpretation and science of Islamic doctrine.

The researcher used the methodology of context analysis which is a form of

the descriptive methodology.

This study tries to answer some questions, some of these:

- What is the school of modern mental and what about its origins?
- What were the reasons behind the rising of this school, and how to
reply to it?
- How to deal with prescience in the holy Qur'an, and what are the
mistakes of the mentalists in explainning the signs of doomsday in
the holy Qur'an?

The study includes an introduction, abstract, three chapters, and a

conclusion. The introduction includes a research literature, the abstract
includes an introduction and definitions for some issues that concern the
research, especially the definition of the school of modern mental.

The first chapter is titled by "who are the mentalists?". This chapter
includes a definition of the school of modern mental, its relation with the
ancient mentalists, and a definition for the most prominent pioneers of the
school.

The title of the second chapter is "the mistakes of the mentalists and
that the sound mind doesn t conflict with transmission".

 The third chapter is titled with " The explanations of the school of
modern mental for the signs of the doomsday in the holy Qur'an" and
it contains the explanations of the school of modern mental for the six signs
of the doomsday in the holy Qur'an, which are:

The splitting of the moon, the descent of Jesus -BPUH-, Gog and Magog,
the smoke, the rising of the sun from the west, and the emergence of an
animal.

Finally, the conclusion contains the most prominent results that have been
come across through the research.
