Généralités
Le dimensionnement actuel ou historique des collecteurs publics
ne permet pas toujours de garantir l’écoulement gravitaire
suffisant en cas de précipitations exceptionnelles dont la
fréquence est en forte augmentation suite au dérèglement
climatique de ces dernières années («la crue de référence
centennale» et les modale statistiques de prévision
méteorologique sont de moins en moins fiables)
Les concepteurs, les régies d’exploitation et les services
techniques des agences municipales doivent donc considérer le
risque de surcharge des réseaux mixtes (système de type
unitaire) mais également des réseaux séparés en cas de sous-
dimensionnement des collecteurs (par branchements successifs
de lotissements sur les collecteurs existants), maintenance ou
dysfonctionnement des stations de pompage en aval, risques
d’obstruction ou faibles pentes des réseaux.

des clapets anti-retour
Installation
Positionner le couvercle du clapet à l’horizontale. Respecter le sens
d’évacuation (emboîture en amont) indiqué par la flèche sur le
couvercle.

Mise en oeuvre
Le clapet anti-retour permet l’évacuation des eaux (usées ou
pluviales) et sert à éviter tout refoulement accidentel par fermeture
automatique. Pour un écoulement normal, s’assurer que la poignée
soit placée dans le sens indiqué par la fig.2

Entretien
Vérifier périodiquement le bon fonctionnement de la poignée de
verrouillage (2 fois par an).
fig.4 En cas d’obturation, démonter le couvercle, nettoyer et remplacer
éventuellement les parties hors d’usage. Prévoir la maintenance
complète du clapet anti-retour au moins une fois par an.

The flap valves allow the waste water to flow out from a
pipe to either a ditch or a pond, preventing at the same
time back flooding.
The flap is opened by waste water’s thrust. Flap’s
weight and 11° slant keep the device closed when not
working.
