Dependencies

Software Versions:
This software runs on LMCSS MCBII version JBA26801AAF002 or higher.

• OCSS:
− Software GAE30075FAA or higher, running on RCBII version GAA21270A1 or
higher.
− With software versions before GAE30075CAA the new functions like 6th load
switch or 2nd open door profile cannot be used.
− With software GAC30075BAA wrong (exchanged) load message "Empty car" /
"10%" is send to MCSS (only for MSVF or OVF1).
− With software GAE30075DAA01 improved door time protection open (DTO) is im-
plemented. This is necessary in case of a door bypass error causing a missing DZ
input to the LMCSS.
− With software GAE30075FAA or higher full functionality for EFO and EPO opera-
tion according to British Standard BS-5588.
− For Advanced Brake Lift: for correct functionality of failure handling of DTC
mode the software version GAE30075HAC is required.

Modification Description

The following items describe the error corrections made from version
GBA30085JAA to GBA30085KAA.

3. Enhancements:
1.1 Adjustable ANS, Full, Peak values for OCSS in case of analog loadweighing
Adjustable thresholds for the load status messages to the OCSS:
ANS, FULL, PEAK in case of analog loadweighing.

1.2 ABL Enhancement: “PTR drop delay” parameter range increased

The upper limit for the setup parameter “PTR drop delay” (E2P_PTR_Reset_Time) was in-
creased from 100 to 255. Also the default setup was set to 100 (=1sec) for HSDD Drives.
This reduces the possibility of an error for ABL during stopping the drive after reopening of
doors with HSDD drive type.

4. Corrections:
2.1 Releveling on Overtload (OLD) if “OCSS load enable” is set to 0
Releveling on overload was not prevented if the parameter “OCSS load enable” was set
to 0.

2.2 ETSC: blocked car after DFC emergency stop

An opening of the safety chain for some seconds occuring above the ETSC speed caused
the system to be blocked.
The LMCSS now starts the initializing sequence for the ETS circuit by pulling shortly the U
relay after the safety chain is closed again.

2.3 Reduce false counting of error counters

Event Counter:
"SAF DBP inp. err": False counting at low acceleration rates.
“2806” Evaluation corrected: added evaluation delay.
"SAF ADO error": High number of occurences:
“2903” Evaluation enhanced: added DZ condition.
"ABL: illegal move": High number of occurences:
“2910” Evaluation enhanced: increased speed and distance tolerance.
"ABL: GDS-ON error": High number of occurences:
“2914” Evaluation enhanced: added evaluation delays.
"ABL/ACG Setup err": Wrong evaluation.
“2913” Evaluation corrected.
"PSR Pos Mes Flt": Wrong trigger observed.

2.4 Start Enable bit to OCSS: coding corrected

The Start Enable bit, which is send from the LMCSS to the OCSS, had a wrong coding.
The OCSS uses it to send it to the EMS.

3. Prevention:
3.1 Added 5sec delay before sending “Not Available” to the OCSS
Introduction of a 5s delay for the LMCSS to send the “Not Available” status to the OCSS.
The “Not Available” message sets the OCSS in NAV mode and calls are deleted.
For short LMCSS shutdowns, which are recovered immediately and automatically, this must
not be noticed in other systems.

3.2 Send CLD1 Door Command if running on TCI

DCSS5 door commands during movement on TCI:
Send CLD1 (disable reversal devices) to keep door closed with force.

3.3 Deleted Parameter: “BKL to MOV Tout”

There was no practical use of this Parameter anymore. But misadjustment may have
caused problems.
