1. Objet
Le présent document définit les exigences du TUNAC
concernant les conditions d’établissement, le contenu
et la présentation des certificats/rapports d’étalonnage
émis par les laboratoires accrédités par le TUNAC
dans le domaine des étalonnages.
Le présent document n'est pas conçu comme un
document normatif et ne vise pas à introduire des
exigences supplémentaires à celles de l'ISO/IEC
17025:2017, mais à fournir des précisions et des
orientations sur les exigences de la norme
internationale.
Cette publication fournit des recommandations pour le
format, la présentation des certificats d'étalonnage et
des étiquettes d'étalonnage couverts par le champ
d'application de l'accréditation TUNAC d'un laboratoire
selon la norme ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
2 Domaine d’application
Le présent document est destiné aux laboratoires
candidats à l’accréditation et accrédités par le TUNAC.
Ce document remplace DO.E.07 (Edition 8).
3 Conditions de délivrance d’un certificat/rapport
d’Etalonnage
L’accréditation par le TUNAC d’un laboratoire
d’étalonnage garantit que le laboratoire effectue des
étalonnages avec des incertitudes spécifiées et que la
traçabilité au système international d’unités (SI) est
assurée. Le laboratoire garde en revanche l’entière
responsabilité de l’exécution des étalonnages et de
leurs résultats.
Les précisions données ci-après sont applicables à
l’ensemble des certificats/rapports d’étalonnage émis
dans le cadre d’une accréditation TUNAC. Des
exigences complémentaires sont considérées
nécessaires pour des domaines particuliers
d’étalonnage.
4 DÉFINITIONS
4.1 Etalonnage :
Opération qui, dans des conditions spécifiées, établit
en une première étape une relation entre les valeurs et
les incertitudes de mesure associées qui sont fournies
par des étalons et les indications correspondantes
avec les incertitudes associées, puis utilise en une
seconde étape cette information pour établir une
relation permettant d'obtenir un résultat de mesure à
partir d'une indication
4.2 Certificat/Rapport d’étalonnage :
C’est un document dans lequel sont consignés les
résultats de l’étalonnage. Le but d’un certificat
d’étalonnage est de fournir à l'utilisateur d'un moyen

1 Introduction
This document defines the requirements of the TUNAC
concerning the conditions of establishment, the
content and the presentation of the calibration
certificates/reports issued by the laboratories
accredited by the TUNAC in the field of calibrations.
This document is not intended as a prescriptive
document and does not set out to introduce additional
requirements to those in ISO/IEC 17025:2017 but to
provide amplification and guidance on the
requirements within the international standard.
This publication provides guidance for the format,
presentation and wording of calibration certificates and
calibration labels covered by the scope of a
laboratory’s TUNAC accreditation to ISO/IEC
17025:2017.
2. Scope
This document is intended for laboratories applying for
accreditation and accredited by TUNAC.
This document replaces DO.E.07 (Edition 8).
3 Conditions for issuing a Calibration
certificate/report
TUNAC accreditation of a calibration laboratory
guarantees that the laboratory performs calibrations
with specified uncertainties and that traceability to the
international system of units (SI) is ensured. However,
the laboratory retains full responsibility for the
execution of the calibrations and their results.
The details given below are applicable to all
certificates/calibration reports issued within the
framework of TUNAC accreditation. Additional
requirements are considered necessary for particular
areas of calibration.
4 DEFINITIONS
4.1 Calibration
operation that, under specified conditions, in a first
step, establishes a relation between the quantity
values with measurement uncertainties provided by
measurement standards and corresponding
indications with associated measurement
uncertainties and, in a second step, uses this
information to establish a relation for obtaining a
measurement result from an indication [1].
4.2 Calibration/Report Certificates
It is a document in which the results of the calibration
are recorded. The purpose of a calibration certificate
is to provide the user with a means of measuring the
result of his calibration, allowing him to take into

de mesure le résultat de son étalonnage, lui
permettant de prendre en compte les écarts de
justesse lors de son utilisation.
Un certificat d’étalonnage ne garantit donc pas qu’un
instrument est « dans ses spécifications ».
4.3 Vérification
Fourniture de preuves tangibles qu'une entité donnée
satisfait à des exigences spécifiées.
4.4 Facteur d'élargissement,
nombre supérieur à un par lequel on multiplie une
incertitude-type composée pour obtenir une incertitude
élargie NOTE Un facteur d'élargissement est
habituellement noté par le symbole k (voir aussi le
GUM:1995, 2.3.6).

5 Garanties de l’accréditation par le TUNAC
5.1 L’accréditation par le TUNAC garantit que le
laboratoire dispose des compétences techniques,
d’une organisation qualité et des moyens matériels et
humains nécessaires pour effectuer des étalonnages
et des vérifications avec des incertitudes spécifiées.
5.2 Un Certificat/rapport d’étalonnage portant le logo
TUNAC prouve :
- L’accréditation du laboratoire par le TUNAC pour
effectuer la prestation sus indiquée,
- La validité des domaines de mesure et les
incertitudes associées et qui sont inclus dans le
domaine des possibilités d’étalonnage spécifiées
dans l’annexe technique,
- La validité des méthodes et moyens mis en œuvre
et qui sont inclus dans le domaine des possibilités
d’étalonnage spécifiées dans l’annexe technique,
- Le raccordement aux systèmes internationaux
d’unités (SI).
- La conformité du système qualité du laboratoire
aux exigences internationales de la norme
ISO/IEC 17025 et aux critères d’accréditation du
TUNAC.
5.3 Le laboratoire garde en revanche l’entière
responsabilité de l’exécution des opérations
d’étalonnages ou de vérification et de leurs résultats,

6 Conditions d’établissement

4.3 Verification

5 Guarantees of accreditation by TUNAC
5.1 Accreditation by TUNAC guarantees that the
laboratory has the technical skills, a quality
organization and the material and human resources
necessary to carry out calibrations and verifications
with specified uncertainties.
5.2 A calibration certificate/report bearing the TUNAC
logo proves:
- Accreditation of the laboratory by TUNAC to perform
the above-mentioned service,
- The validity of the measurement ranges and the
associated uncertainties and which are included in the
range of calibration possibilities specified in the
technical appendix,
- The validity of the methods and means implemented
and which are included in the field of calibration
possibilities specified in the technical appendix,
- Connection to international systems of units (SI).
- The conformity of the laboratory's quality system with
the international requirements of the ISO/IEC 17025
standard and with the TUNAC accreditation rules.
5.3 On the other hand, the laboratory retains full
responsibility for the execution of calibration or
verification operations and their results,
5.4 Non-compliance with one of the accreditation rules,
by an accredited laboratory, is a cause for withdrawal
of accreditation
6 Conditions of establishment
6.1 To issue a calibration certificate/report, the

conditions suivantes doivent être satisfaites :
6.1.1 Le laboratoire est accrédité par le TUNAC;
6.1.2 La grandeur considérée, les valeurs de cette
grandeur et éventuellement le type de l’instrument
étalonné ou vérifié sont inclus dans l’annexe
technique ;
6.1.3 Le destinataire du certificat ou du constat
appartient à une catégorie pour laquelle le laboratoire
accrédité a déclaré vouloir effectuer des étalonnages
ou des vérifications.
6.1.4 Le ou les instrument(s) concerné(s) ne
présente(nt) aucun défaut apparent.
6.1.5 Les opérations de comparaison ont été
réalisées dans le cadre des possibilités d’étalonnage.
6.1.6 Lorsque le certificat/rapport porte sur une
série ou un groupe d’appareils, ce groupe ou série
devra être identifiée ainsi que chaque appareil la
constituant, sauf impossibilité physique. Par série ou
groupe on entend un ensemble cohérent d’appareils
complémentaires dont l’usage ou le constructeur a
défini la composition.
6.1.7 Dans le cas d’un laboratoire accrédité
possédant plusieurs accréditations par des différents
organismes d'accréditation, il doit utiliser seulement le
symbole TUNAC sur le certificat/ rapport/
6.1.8 Les laboratoires peuvent effectuer des
prestations basées sur l’utilisation de normes ou textes
réglementaires. Les laboratoires peuvent effectuer des
prestations basées sur des procédures qui leur sont
propres.
6.1.9 Si les Erreurs Maximales Tolérées (EMT) ne
sont pas définies dans un texte réglementaire ou une
norme, elles devront être indiquées dans le rapport de
vérification. Dans ce cas, elles devront faire l’objet au
préalable d’un accord écrit, avant toute prestation,
entre le laboratoire accrédité et le demandeur.
6.1.10 En cas d’ajustage, les modifications
d’indication doivent être enregistrées.
7 Forme du certificat/rapport d’étalonnage
7.1 Un certificat /rapport TUNAC est émis sur papier
blanc au format A4, d’un grammage suffisant pour
garantir sa pérennité. Lorsque des données, courbes,
tables etc., sont inclues au certificat ou au constat,
elles doivent être consignées sur un format normalisé
ou ramené au format A4,
7.2 A l’exclusion du logotype du laboratoire accrédité,
le certificat/rapport issue d’un étalonnage ou une
vérification TUNAC peut être rédigé en noir et blanc ou
autre couleurs.
7.4 La page de garde du certificat /rapport est établie
conformément à un modèle pré-imprimé, qui doit être
reproduit de façon intégrale sans ajouts ou omissions,
conformément au paragraphe 8 du présent document.

following conditions must be met:
6.1.1 The laboratory is accredited by TUNAC;
6.1.2 The quantity considered, the values of this
quantity and possibly the type of instrument calibrated
or verified are included in the technical appendix;
6.1.3 The recipient of the certificate or report belongs
to a category for which the accredited laboratory has
declared that it wishes to carry out calibrations or
checks.
6.1.4 The instrument(s) concerned show(s) no
apparent defect.
6.1.5 The comparison operations were carried out
within the framework of the calibration possibilities.
6.1.6 When the certificate/report relates to a series or
a group of devices, this group or series must be
identified as well as each device constituting it, unless
physically impossible. By series or group we mean a
coherent set of additional devices whose use or the
manufacturer has defined the composition.
6.1.7 In the case of an accredited laboratory having
several accreditations by different accreditation bodies,
it must use only the TUNAC symbol on the certificate/
report.
6.1.8 Laboratories may provide services based on the
use of standards or regulatory texts. Laboratories can
perform services based on their own procedures.
6.1.9 If the Maximum Tolerable Errors (MTE) are not
defined in a regulatory or a standard text, they must be
indicated in the verification report. In this case, they
must be the subject of a prior written agreement,
before any service, between the accredited laboratory
and the applicant.
6.1.10 In case of adjustment, the modifications of
indication must be recorded.
7 Presentation of Calibration Certificates/Reports.
7.1 A TUNAC certificate/report is issued on white
paper in A4 format, of sufficient weight to guarantee its
durability. When data, curves, tables etc. are included
in the certificate or report, they must be recorded in a
standardized format or reduced to A4 format,
7.2 With the exception of the logotype of the
accredited laboratory, the certificate/report resulting
from a calibration or a TUNAC verification can be
written in black and white or other colors.
7.4 The certificate / report cover page is drawn up in
accordance with a pre-printed model, which must be
reproduced in full without additions or omissions, in
accordance with paragraph 8 of this document.

7.5 Lorsque des ajouts sont nécessaires pour le bon
fonctionnement du laboratoire accrédité, ils doivent
faire l’objet d’une demande de dérogation et d’une
acceptation auprès TUNAC avant d’être mis en
application. En cas du non-respect de ces règles, le
rappel des certificats/rapports émis pourra être imposé
au laboratoire.
8 Présentation et contenu de la page de garde
8.1 Présentation
Les certificats/rapports d’étalonnage ou de vérification
ont une présentation identique pour tous les
laboratoires.
Seule la page de garde fait référence au TUNAC et
porte le numéro d’accréditation attribué par TUNAC.
8.2 Contenu de la page de garde
Il est recommandé que :
La page de garde d’un certificat/rapport d’étalonnage
ou de vérification TUNAC comporte :
8.2.1 Le symbol TUNAC dans ses couleurs originales
ou en noir et blanc ou autres,
8.2.2 L’identification du laboratoire émetteur du
certificat ou du constat (nom, adresse, téléphone). Cet
intitulé doit reprendre les indications fournies dans
l’annexe technique,
8.2.3 Le numéro d’accréditation à droite de la mention
Accréditation N°x-xxxx;
8.2.4 L’identification du destinataire du
certificat/rapport (nom, adresse) ;
8.2.5 L’identification claire de l’instrument étalonné ou
vérifié : nature de l’instrument, désignation, nom du
constructeur, type, n° de série, n° d’identification ;
8.2.6 Le nombre de pages et le nombre d’annexes, la
page de garde étant prise en compte dans le calcul du
nombre de pages ;
8.2.7 La date d’émission apparait sur le
certificat /rapport et toutes les dates sont au format
jour/mois/année;
8.2.8 Le certificat /rapport est signé par le responsable
du laboratoire accrédité ou à défaut par un suppléant
habilité. Ces signatures ne peuvent être déléguées.
8.2.9 Il est généralement nécessaire que
l'interprétation des résultats d'étalonnage pour les
certificats/rapports d'étalonnage inclue l'incertitude de
mesure et/ou une déclaration de conformité à une
spécification métrologique identifiée ou à ses clauses.
8.2.10 Dans le cas normal, où les certificats/rapports
d'étalonnage contiennent des résultats de mesure, il
devrait y avoir une déclaration concernant la base sur
laquelle l'incertitude rapportée a été évaluée.

7.5 When additions are necessary for the proper
functioning of the accredited laboratory, they must be
subject to a request for exemption and acceptance
from TUNAC before being implemented. In the event
of non-compliance with these rules, the recall of the
certificates/reports issued may be imposed on the
laboratory.
8 Presentation and content of the cover page
8.1 Presentation
Calibration or verification certificates/reports have an
identical layout for all laboratories.
Only the cover page refers to TUNAC and bears the
accreditation number assigned by TUNAC.
8.2 Content of the cover page
It is recommended that:
The cover page of a TUNAC calibration or verification
certificate/report includes:
8.2.1 The TUNAC logotype in its original colors or in
black and white or others,
8.2.2 The identification of the laboratory issuing the
certificate or report (name, address, telephone). This
title must include the information provided in the
technical annex,
8.2.3 The accreditation number to the right of
Accreditation N°x-xxxx;
8.2.4 The identification of the recipient of the
certificate/report (name, address);
8.2.5 Clear identification of the calibrated or verified
instrument: nature of the instrument, designation,
manufacturer's name, type, serial number,
identification number;
8.2.6 The number of pages and the number of
annexes, the cover page being taken into account in
the calculation of the number of pages;
8.2.7 The date of issue appears on the
certificate/report and that all dates are in the format
day/month/year.
8.2.8 The certificate/report is signed by the head of the
accredited laboratory or, failing that, by an authorized
substitute. These signatures cannot be delegated.
8.2.9 It is generally necessary for the interpretation of
calibration results for calibration certificates/reports to
include the uncertainty of measurement and/or a
statement of compliance with an identified metrological
specification or clauses thereof.
8.2.10 In the normal case, where calibration
certificates/reports contain measurement results, there
should be a statement regarding the basis on which
the reported uncertainty has been evaluated. In order

Afin de respecter les règles d'acceptation
internationale des certificats/rapports dans le cadre
des accords de reconnaissance mutuelle de l'ILAC et
de l'EA, cette évaluation doit être effectuée
conformément à la publication EA-4/02 M de l'EA et la
déclaration doit être sous la forme qui y est indiquée,
par ex., l'incertitude élargie rapportée est basée sur
une incertitude type composée multipliée par un
facteur d’élargissement k, fournissant une probabilité
de couverture d'environ 95 %.
Note : Il peut y avoir des circonstances dans
lesquelles un facteur de couverture autre que 2 est
requis et, par conséquent, cette déclaration devra être
modifiée en conséquence. Il existe également des
circonstances dans lesquelles les degrés de liberté
effectifs doivent être signalés. Des exemples sont
présentés dans le document EA 4-02 M.
3.4 Dans le cas où des déclarations de conformité aux
spécifications sont faites, l'incertitude de mesure doit
être prise en compte dans les règles de décision. Ceci
est décrit dans ILAC G8.
Si des déclarations de conformité sont faites mais que
les résultats et les incertitudes sont omis, alors il
devrait y avoir une déclaration qui décrit les points
d'étalonnage pour lesquels la conformité est attribuée.
Note : Les références aux déclarations de conformité
s'appliquent également aux déclarations de non-
conformité.
- Sauf si la règle de décision est implicite dans une
spécification citée, la règle de décision utilisée pour
établir les déclarations de conformité doit être décrite
dans le certificat ou le rapport.
- Ceci est requis par cl 7.8.6.2 (c) dans ISO/IEC
17025:2017.
Un laboratoire peut inclure dans ses
certificats/rapports d'étalonnage la mention suivante :
« Le TUNAC est l'un des signataires de l'accord
multilatéral de la coopération européenne pour
l'accréditation (EA) pour la reconnaissance mutuelle
des certificats d'étalonnage délivrés par les
laboratoires accrédités.
9 Pages de suite
Chaque page « i » du certificat/rapport d’étalonnage, à
l’exception de la page de garde qui est la page numéro
1:
9.1 comporte en haut la mention
« CERTIFICAT/RAPPORT D’ETALONNAGE OU DE
LA VERIFICATION N°… », ou « CE N° / RV N° … »,
9.2 peut présenter le logotype du laboratoire dans une
bande à gauche de chaque page,
10 Contenu technique d’un certificat/rapport
d’étalonnage
Un certificat/rapport d’étalonnage doit mentionner au
moins :

to meet the rules for international acceptance of
certificates/reports under the mutual recognition
agreements of ILAC and EA this evaluation should be
carried out according to EA publication EA-4/02 M and
the statement should be in the form given therein, e.g.,
The reported expanded uncertainty is based on a
combined standard uncertainty multiplied by a
coverage factor k, providing a coverage probability of
approximately 95%.
Note: There may be circumstances under which a
coverage factor other than 2 is required and therefore
this statement will have to be modified accordingly.
There are also circumstances under which the
effective degrees of freedom should be reported.
Examples are presented in the document EA 4-02 M.
3.4 In the case where conformity with specification
statements are made the uncertainty of measurement
should be taken into account in the decision rules. This
is described in ILAC G8.
If statements of conformity are made but results and
uncertainties are omitted, then there should be a
statement that describes the calibration points for
which conformity is ascribed.
Note: References to statements of conformity apply
equally to statements of non-conformity.
- Unless the decision rule is implicit in a specification
quoted, the decision rule used to make statements of
conformity shall be described in the certificate or
report.
- This is required by cl 7.8.6.2 (c) in ISO/IEC
17025:2017.
A laboratory may include in its calibration
certificates/reports the following statement: “TUNAC is
one of the signatories to the Multilateral Agreement of
the European co-operation for Accreditation (EA) for
the mutual recognition of calibration certificates issued
by accredited laboratories.”

Each “i” page of the calibration certificate/report,
except for the cover page which is page number 1:
9.1 includes at the top the words
“CERTIFICATE/REPORT/CALIBRATION Or
VERIFICATION N°…”, or “CE N°/RV N°…”,
9.2 may present the laboratory logotype in a band on
the left of each page,
10 Technical contents of a calibration
certificate/report
A calibration certificate/report must mention at least:
- The conditions (eg. ambient) under which the

- Les conditions (par exemple ambiantes) dans
lesquelles les étalonnages ont été effectués et qui
ont une influence sur les résultats des mesurages;
la date (ou la période) effective de l’étalonnage;
- l’identification de l’opérateur ayant effectué les
étalonnage ou vérifications.
- l’identification de la procédure d’étalonnage ou de
vérification;
- la liste des étalons et des instruments de mesure
utilisés lors de l’étalonnage et la description
succincte de la méthode employée;
- l'incertitude de mesure et/ou une déclaration de
conformité à une spécification métrologique
définie ou à certains articles de celle-ci;
- la référence de la norme ou du texte de référence
utilisé,
Un certificat d’étalonnage/rapport ou vérification doit
contenir aussi :
- le tableau numérique des résultats d’étalonnage
ou de vérification et des incertitudes associées;
- les incertitudes élargies mentionnées dans
l’annexe technique ;
Certains renseignements complémentaires ne sont
pas directement utiles aux destinataires des certificats
d’étalonnage ou des constats de vérification. Il peut
cependant être nécessaire de s’y reporter pour
effectuer des vérifications particulières, notamment la
traçabilité. Ils sont à cet effet conservés par le
laboratoire émetteur et peuvent être consultés sur
place en tant que de besoin.
En particulier, pour le rapport de vérification (une autre
colonne ou une page séparée doit être rajouté) et doit
figurer :
- Les conditions de validité de la vérification [sert à
décrire les limitations de validité du(des)
rapport(s), imputables à la procédure de
vérification utilisée. Cette rubrique apparaîtra dans
un cadre de même largeur que le tableau de
rapport, et situé sous celui-ci. La mention
« CONDITIONS DE VERIFICATION » y apparaît
en caractère de titre.
- Une rubrique des renseignements
complémentaires portant sur les points relatifs à la
prestation ayant conduit à l’établissement du (des)
rapport(s). Cette rubrique apparaîtra dans un
cadre de même largeur que le tableau de constat,
et situé sous celui-ci. La mention «
RENSEIGNEMENT COMPLEMENTAIRES » y
apparaîtra en caractère de titre.
11 Mentions obligatoires
Dans les certificats/rapports d’étalonnage, les
mentions suivantes doivent obligatoirement
apparaître Cf. au document ILAC P14:
« L'incertitude de mesure élargie signalée est
exprimée comme l'incertitude de mesure composée
multipliée par le facteur de couverture k de sorte que
la probabilité de couverture corresponde à environ 95
% ».

actual date (or period) of the calibration;
- the identification of the operator who carried out the
calibrations or checks.
- identification of the calibration or verification
procedure;
- the list of standards and measuring instruments used
during the calibration and a brief description of the
method used;
- the measurement uncertainty and/or a statement of
conformity to a defined metrological specification or
certain clauses thereof;
- the reference of the standard or reference text used,
A calibration certificate/report or verification must also
contain:
- the numerical table of the calibration or verification
results and the associated uncertainties;
- the expanded uncertainties mentioned in the
technical annex;
Some additional information is not directly useful to
recipients of calibration certificates or verification
reports. However, it may be necessary to refer to it to
carry out specific checks, in particular traceability. For
this purpose, they are kept by the issuing laboratory
and can be consulted on site as needed.
In particular, for the verification report (other column or
a separate page must be added) and must include:

11 Mandatory information
In the calibration certificates/reports, the following
information must appear In accordance with ILAC P14:
“The reported expanded measurement uncertainty is
expressed as the standard measurement uncertainty
multiplied by the coverage factor k such that the
coverage probability is approximately 95%”.

reconnu. »
Le laboratoire doit spécifier dans ses dispositions
d’assurance qualité les conditions d’archivage et leur
durée. Ceci concerne principalement :
- les résultats bruts de mesure,
- les conditions d’environnement,
- les méthodes d’étalonnage,
- les étalons et instruments d’étalonnage
ou de mesure utilisés lors de l’étalonnage
ou de la vérification (n° d’identification,
etc…),
- l’indication des réglages éventuellement
effectués,
- les remarques concernant le
fonctionnement de l’instrument étalonné,
- les critères de classement, critères
d’acceptation,
- l’évaluation des incertitudes d’étalonnage
ou de mesure (liste des paramètres pris
en compte, manière d’estimer leur
contribution…),
- les interventions éventuellement
effectuées (ajustage, réparation…), et à
la traçabilité des indications avant ces
opérations.
12 Possibilités d’étalonnage
12.1 Un laboratoire peut faire figurer dans un
certificat/rapport d’étalonnage ou de vérification des
points situés en dehors de ses possibilités
d’étalonnage ou de vérification accréditées, dès lors
qu’ils sont clairement identifiés comme étant en dehors
du domaine accrédité.
12.2 Les points hors accréditation du domaine
d’émission du certificat/rapport d’étalonnage ou de
vérification doivent être en nombre fortement
minoritaire par rapport à l’ensemble des mesures
effectuées (inférieur à 10%) ils doivent être clairement
identifiés et proches des bornes d’accréditation, dans
tous les cas ils doivent figurer dans une annexe
clairement identifiée.
12.3 Dans tous les cas, le laboratoire accrédité doit
veiller à ce qu’aucune ambiguïté ne subsiste, les
conclusions des évaluations périodiques et l’examen
d’un certificat/rapport suite à une réclamation pourront
entraîner le rappel des certificats non conformes, une
évaluation supplémentaire pourra être alors
programmée.
12.4 Les incertitudes indiquées dans les certificats

The laboratory must specify in its quality assurance
provisions the archiving conditions and their duration.
This mainly concerns:
- the raw measurement results,
- environmental conditions,
- calibration methods,
- the calibration or measurement standards and
instruments used during the calibration or verification
(identification number, etc.),
- indication of any adjustments made,
- remarks concerning the operation of the calibrated
instrument,
- the classification criteria, acceptance criteria,
- evaluation of calibration or measurement
uncertainties (list of parameters taken into account,
way of estimating their contribution, etc.),
- any interventions carried out (adjustment, repair,
etc.), and the traceability of the indications before
these operations.
12 Calibration possibilities
12.1 A laboratory may include in a calibration or
verification certificate/report points outside its
accredited calibration or verification capabilities,
provided they are clearly identified as being outside
the accredited scope.
12.2 The non-accredited points of the scope of issue of
the certificate/calibration or verification report must be
a significant minority in number compared to all the
measurements carried out (less than 10%) they must
be clearly identified and close to the terminals of
accreditation, in all cases they must appear in a clearly
identified appendix.
12.3 In all cases, the accredited laboratory must
ensure that no ambiguity remains, the conclusions of
periodic evaluations and the examination of a
certificate/report following a complaint may lead to the
recall of non-compliant certificates, an evaluation
additional may then be programmed.

13 Archivage
13.1 Une copie de chaque certificat/rapport
d’étalonnage ou de vérification émis doit être
conservée par le laboratoire accrédité pendant une
durée minimale de 5 ans (un cycle d’accréditation).
14 Correction d’un original
14.1 Les corrections éventuelles d’un certificat/rapport
d’étalonnage ou de vérification, postérieure à la date
d’émission du document, sont possibles lorsqu’il y a
eu :
- Un oubli ou une erreur manifeste du laboratoire
- Une nécessité de compléter ou d’expliciter
objectivement les résultats
14.2 Elles doivent faire l’objet :
- du rappel du certificat/rapport d’étalonnage ou de
vérification original délivré au client, certificat ou
constat qui sera archivé par le laboratoire avec un
exemplaire du nouveau certificat ou constat émis,
- ce nouveau certificat/rapport d’étalonnage ou de
vérification devra comporter le logotype en
vigueur du laboratoire et de l’organisme
d’accréditation. Il portera un nouveau numéro ou
l’ancien numéro complété par un indice de
révision, et la mention suivante sous l’en-tête du
certificat/rapport d’étalonnage ou de vérification
(page de garde) : « ce certificat/rapport annule et
remplace le certificat/rapport n°… ».
15 Etiquettes
15.1 Les appareils conformes aux prescriptions pour
lesquels un certificat/rapport d’étalonnage ou de
vérification a été émis, doivent recevoir une étiquette
d’étalonnage et une étiquette de mise en garde ou une
étiquette de vérification.
15.2 Dans les cas particuliers où le laboratoire ne peut
coller l’étiquette sur l’instrument étalonné (masse, cale
étalon), l’étiquette sera collée à défaut sur le boîtier
correspondant.
15.3 Les mentions relatives au laboratoire (intitulé et/
ou marque) peuvent être pré-imprimées sur les
étiquettes.
15.4 Etiquettes d’étalonnage ou de vérification
trilingues
Les étiquettes peuvent être présentées en trilingue
arabe ou français ou anglais avec les rubriques
indiquées en langue arabe ou française ou anglaise et
en autres langues au-dessous.

13 Archiving
13.1 A copy of each calibration or verification
certificate/report issued must be kept by the accredited

14 Correcting an original
14.1 Any corrections to a certificate/calibration or
verification report, subsequent to the date of issue of
the document, are possible when there has been:
- An omission or an obvious error of the laboratory
- A need to complete or explain objectively the results
14.2 They must be subject to:
- the reminder of the original certificate/calibration or
verification report issued to the customer, certificate or
report which will be archived by the laboratory with a
copy of the new certificate or report issued,
- this new certificate/calibration or verification report
must include the current logotype of the laboratory and
of the accreditation body. It will bear a new number or
the old number supplemented by a revision index, and
the following mention under the heading of the
certificate/calibration or verification report (cover
page): "this certificate/report cancels and replaces
certificate/report No…”.
15 Labels
15.1 Devices conforming to the requirements for which
a calibration or verification certificate/report has been
issued, must be provided with a calibration label and a
warning label or a verification label.
15.2 In some cases where the labels cannot be affixed
by TUNAC, they will be provided to the customer so
that he can make proper use of them.
15.3 Mentions relating to the laboratory (title and/or
brand) may be pre-printed on the labels.
15.4 Trilingual calibration or verification labels
The labels may be presented in trilingual Arabic or
French or English with the headings indicated in Arabic
or French or English and in other languages below.
