1 Objet /Object

1.1 Ce document présente les lignes directrices pour la définition et la rédaction d'une
portée d'accréditation objet d'une demande d'accréditation TUNAC dans les
domaines des inspections.
This document provides guidelines for defining and drafting a scope of accreditation
applied for TUNAC in the fields of inspections and/or control.

2 Préambule / Preamble
2.1 L'accréditation TUNAC d'un organisme d’inspection et/ou de contrôle ne porte pas
sur toutes les activités de l'organisme. Elle est toujours relative à un type
d'inspection ou un domaine d'inspection bien précis. Dès lors, il incombe à
l'organisme de définir clairement la portée de la demande d'accréditation lorsqu'il
se porte candidat à une accréditation TUNAC.
Accreditation TUNAC an inspection and / or control bodies does not cover all
activities of the organization. It is always relative to a type of inspection or a specific
area of inspection. Therefore, it is up to the organization to clearly define the scope
of the application becomes a candidate for accreditation TUNAC.

2.2 La définition de la portée de l'accréditation par l'organisme d’inspection et/ou de

contrôle répond à un double objectif :

The definition of the scope of accreditation by the inspection body serves a dual
purpose:
 Permettre au TUNAC de se préparer convenablement pour l'exécution de
l'évaluation et de l'accréditation de l'organisme,
 • Allow TUNAC to prepare adequately for the performance assessment and
accreditation of the inspection body

 Mettre à la disposition d'organismes qui ont recours à des organismes de

contrôle des répertoires d'organismes accrédités dans lesquels sont
spécifiés les portées des domaines et des types des inspections accrédités.
• Make available to organizations that use inspection, directory of accredited
inspection bodies which are within the specified accredited scopes.

3 Organisme d’inspection / Inspection bodies

3.1 Afin d'harmoniser les démarches de définition des portées d'accréditation, le

TUNAC a adopté une méthodologie descendante "en entonnoir". D'abord est
spécifié le domaine concerné (phase, type et objet des inspections), ensuite le(s)
référentiel(s) d'inspection (réglementaires, normatifs,...).

In order to harmonize approaches to defining scopes of accreditation, TUNAC

adopted a very specific methodology "funnel". First is specified the relevant field
(phase, type and purpose of inspections), then the Inspection referential
(regulatory, legislative ...).

3.2 Pour la définition précise d'une portée d'accréditation les éléments d'information
suivants doivent figurer dans la demande d'accréditation.
For the precise definition of accreditation scope the following information must be
included in the application for accreditation:

a) référence au domaine général d’inspection,

reference to the general field inspection.

b) identification de la phase des inspections,

identification of the phase of inspections,

c) identification du type des inspections,

identification of the type of inspections,

d) identification de l'objet des inspections,

identification of the object of inspections,

e) identification de la spécification, de la norme, (méthode) ou de la technique

utilisée.
