LIGUE DES CHAMPIONS DE LA CAF 2023 / 2024 - PROCEDURES DU TIRAGE AU SORT

54 teams are engaged in CL 2023 / 2024.
Accordingly, the 10 highest ranked clubs in the official clubs ranking, shall be exempted of the 1st preliminary
round.
The remaining teams are divided into the following: highest ranked teams / less ranked teams / non ranked
teams.
7 pots have been created according to the above-mentioned groups and according to geographical proximity
as follows:
3 pots of non ranked teams.
4 pots of less ranked teams.
The exempted teams and the highest ranked teams are distributed geographically in the fixtures as shown
below

En conséquence, les 10 clubs les mieux classés au classement officiel des clubs sont exemptés du 1er tour
préliminaire.
Les équipes restantes sont divisées comme suit : équipes mieux classées / équipes moins bien classées / équipes
non classées.
7 pots ont été créés selon les groupes mentionnés ci-dessus et selon la proximité géographique comme suit :
