Specialists of accessories to equip and secure the aerial networks, these two subsidiaries, of the Group SICAME, offer complementary ranges of
materials for the installation of telecommunication and videocommunication cables.
SM-CI, boasting by its brand MALICO, has developped a range of mechanical accessories for copper, optical fibers Fig-8 or round cables, installed on
distribution networks.
DERVAUX, with its brand SAAE, proposes spiral accessories and antivibratory systems for cables with optical fibers ADSS or OPGW, installed on
medium and high voltage networks.
By associating their know-how, SM-CI and DERVAUX propose a global service from the conception to the realization of accessories, specially adapted
to cables and of specificities of the projects of their customers.

The suspension clamps (belt type) have been

designed to offer an improved protection to the
cables against wind induced vibrations.
La pince SMS est issue d'une longue tude sur

les phnomnes vibratoires auxquels sont
soumis les cbles ariens.
Las pinzas de suspensin (tipo correa) han sido

diseadas tras un largo perodo de estudio
acerca de los fenmenos vibratorios a los que
se someten los cables areos.

Funcionamiento
Round cables can be secured in protective

polymere sleeves and figure-8 cables between
jaws.
Different types of rings enable a quick and easy
fixing on any pole bracket (bolt, hook, crossarm). The link beween the pole bracket and the
cable is made by means of a flexible but very
resistant polyester belt that offers the cable a
complete freedom of movement in all possible
directions once secured in the suspension
clamp. Destructive vibration tests carried out
according to France Telecom specification
showed the ability of the clamps to protect the
cables against damage and cold hardening
effects caused by wind induced vibrations.
Le serrage du porteur s'effectue par une pince

universelle
permettant,
par
simple
retournement, de serrer des porteurs de 5
11 mm.
La liaison de cette pince avec la console
support est ralise au moyen d'une sangle
souple garantissant 3 degrs de libert aux
mouvements du cble. Les essais effectus
donnent des rsultats conformes la
spcification France Tlcom quant la tenue
aux vibrations.
La fijacin del cable gua se efecta mediante

una pinza universal que permite, con una sola
vuelta, apretar los cables de 5 a 11.
La unin de esta pinza con la consola soporte
se realiza mediante una correa flexible que
garantiza 3 grados de libertad a los
movimientos del cable. Los ensayos realizados
ofrecen resultados conforme a lo requisito en
las especificaciones de France Telecom en
cuanto a la resistencia a las vibraciones.

Install the first anchor clamp and tension the cable ;

a dynamometer must be installed in the tensioning
assembly (comealong, tensioner, strap).
Installer la premire pince et tractionner le cble. La
chane de traction doit comporter un dynamomtre.
Instalar la primera pinza y tensar el cable. La
cadena de traccin debe conllevar un dinammetro.

When the tensioning force is reached, bring the anchor clamp with its
bail strung against the cable as shown and mark the cable (a) flush with
the clamp body end.
La tension de pose tant atteinte, aligner cte cte le cble et la pince
en tirant sur la pince pour que lanse soit tendue. Faire un repre (a)
sur le cble au niveau de lextrmit du corps de pince.
Una vez lograda la tensin de instalacin, alinee el cable a la pinza
tirando de la pinza para que el asa quede tensa. Haga una marca en el
cable a la altura del extremo del cuerpo de pinza.
Push the wedges forward till the messenger is caught.

Push the wedges back (direction of the pole) till stop then act on the
tensioner to increase the tension in the span till the mark (a) is flush with
the wedges front end a shown. Install the clamp on the straightened cable
making sure that the messenger is properly seated in the wedges as well
as in their front and back holding hooks.
Reculer les coins mobiles et augmenter la tension jusqu pouvoir
introduire le porteur, le repre (a) tant positionn lextrmit des
coins. Installer la pince sur une partie rectiligne pour que le porteur soit
bien positionn dans les crochets avant et arrire des coins.
Retroceda las cuas mviles y aumente al tensin hasta poder introducir
el cable, el indicador (a) se hallar posicionado en el extremo de las
cuas. Instale la pinza en una zona rectilnea para que el cable quede
bien posicionado en los ganchos delanteros y traseros de las cuas.
Release the tension and take away the tensioning assembly.

Relcher la tension et dposer la chane de traction.
Suelte la tensin y suelte la cadena de traccin.
