COVERING NOTES
1 The ratings mentioned for components (combination fuse switch, contactor) are preliminary. Supplier to verify and provide the same
as per applicable IEC Standards
2 The protections mentioned in the SLDs shall be provided by the suppler in the form of Microprocessor based electronic protection
relay for incoming and buscoupler breaker/feeder protection.
3 Short circuit ratings, trip ratings and tripping time mentioned in datasheets and drawings are preliminary and shall be verified by
Contractor/Supplier through relevant system interlock studies (complete software based Power System Studies. Short Circuit ,
Load Flow, arc flash, protection cordination, harmonic filteration, that are supposed to be part of RFQ) specified in BOQ and Scope of
work.
4 EPR/soft starter of each motor circuit to be connected in a redundant Modbus RS-485 loop (perferably through daisy-chaining). All
internal modbus connection and wiring shall be provided as pre-installed by the supplier who shall bring out all such Rs-485
connections to a dedicated common terminal block, from where the tie in a PC along with all licensed software provided by bidder.
5 EPR shall also incorporate all metering functions, as required in relevant specifications, drawings and datasheet
6 As an alternate option to provide separate electronic EPR, supplier may incorporate the protection functions in soft starter module.
In this regards, supplier is encouraged to select a soft starter with builtin motor protection functions and metering functions.
8 The CTs quatities shown is minimum. Any other CTs requires shall be estimated by Vendor and same shall be deemed to be
included in the quoted price.
9 This datasheet shall be read in conjunction with SLD # 238-4-ELS-002.Document shall be read in conjunction with Specs
10 The main bus bar of MV switchgear shall be extendable both ways such that it shall remain suitable for tie-in with new MV panel
assembly .
11 Vendor shall seek client/consultant' approval on fabrication /wiring GA drawings complete in all respects prior to proceeding with
actual fabrication / Manufacturing. Also CT/VT sizing calculations to be submitted for client review & approval.
13 All energy analyzer shall be capable of Measurement of voltage, current, active & reactive power, frequency, active & reactive
energy, power factor, symmetry factor, voltage and current harmonics up to the 21st, total harmonic distortion.Communications:
PROFIBUS-DP, MODBUS RTU / ASCII or IEC communication protocol simple parameterization via front key or RS485
communication port Graphic display with background illumination with up to 20 programmable screens Real-time clock: Measured
values and states will be recorded with time stamps Recording and display of limit value violations and log entries Battery:
Recordings like limit value violations or energy counter values stay safely in the memory up to 1 months in case of a blackout.
14 Motor Protection function shall include Alarm and Trip for following (Overcurrent,Undercurrent,Current imbalance,
overload,Reset,Start-per-hour & etc).Phase Reversal, Thermal & etc
15 Metering Functions includes (Motor load,Current data,Thermal data,Start data,RTD data,Metering & etc)
16 HMI function Display includes (LCD display,Keypad,Status indications include,Fault display,Lockout display & etc)
17 Programmable Outputs includes (Rating,Run, speed,Acceleration,Deceleration & etc) & all necessary required SS feature suitable
reciprocroting compressor application.
18 Installation of Local manufactured CT/PT is not allowed.ALL Panel shall be type tested
19 Bidder to note that all upstream & downstream VCB earth switches are interlocked to avoid hot swtiching.Bidder is also
responsiable for providing all ATS which are mentioned in SLD,Specfication or required for completion of satisfactory operation.
20 Details of required motors data for sizing of Soft Starter will be provided at time of detailed engineering
