620 € matériel non compris (environ 100 € pour un panneau

de 40 x40 cm) selon la quantité et la qualité du verre utilisé.
TARIFS Hébergement, petits-déjeuners et repas du midi sont
compris ainsi que le dîner du 1er soir.
Il est demandé un acompte de 180 € à l'inscription.

Votre Vous êtes invités à développer votre propre créativité à travers le dessin et la
CREATION fabrication d'un vitrail. Le but est d'engager un processus créatif, d'aborder le
dessin et de mieux appréhender le choix des couleurs. Il est intéressant de
prendre des photos des différentes étapes.
Pour les débutants, les étapes du dessin, du choix et de l'utilisation du verre
seront particulièrement soulignées et si le temps le permet, les techniques de
traitement du verre seront abordées.
Pour les confirmés, seront d'abord travaillés les différents traitements
possibles du verre : peinture, oxyde d'argent, sablage, avec une attention
particulière pour la peinture. Ces techniques pourront ensuite être
appliquées lors de la fabrication de votre panneau.
Vous pouvez prendre les mesures d'une fenêtre où vous souhaiteriez intégrer
votre vitrail.
Pour ramener votre vitrail dans les meilleurs conditions, veuillez apporter une
planche en bois un peu plus grande que votre vitrail.

5 personnes minimum, 7 maximum.

iNFOS 6 h de cours/jour mais possibilité d'utiliser l'atelier plus longtemps.
PRATIQUES Prendre des vêtements de travail et 1 appareil photo pour mémoriser toutes
les étapes de la fabrication.
Gares SNCF : St-Denis-Les-Martel (changement à Brive La Gaillarde) ou
Souillac. Environ 5h de Paris, 3h de Bordeaux et 2h de Toulouse.
Arrivée du dimanche soir entre 18 et 19h. Départ le samedi soir ou le dimanche
matin suivant si vous habitez loin.
Chambre seul ou à 2 suivant le nombre de participants (draps et 1 serviette fournis).
Le midi, cuisine maison avec produits du potager ou locaux. Précisez si
régime particulier. Le soir, participation au repas, restaurant ou autre.
Une spécialité de votre région ou autre sera la bienvenue
et partagée entre tous.
Assurances : les participants doivent assurer leur propre séjour s'ils le
désirent. Leo Amery ne peut être tenu responsable des dommages ou pertes
d'effets, des maladies ou accidents.

J'ai étudié l'art du vitrail au Central School of Art and Design de Londres et j'ai
Mon parcours été enseignant à l'Inner London Education Authority pendans plusieurs
années. J'ai ouvert mon atelier en France il y a plus de 30 ans où j'ai une galerie.
Je réalise des créations sur commandes chez des particuliers et pour
bâtiments public, pour exposition et je fais quelques restaurations.

Your
CREATION
The course is designed to explore individual creative potential through the design and
manufacture of a stained glass window. No previous experience of glass design or
painting is necessary. If you want remember to take photos of the different stages of
production.
For beginners, the approach to drawing, choice and use of glass will be particularly
emphasized. If time permits, different glass treatment techniques will be possible.
For the experienced, different possible treatments of the glass will be encouraged:
painting, silver stain, sandblasting and fusing. These techniques can then be applied
when manufacturing your panel.
If you wish take the measurements of a window where you would like to fit your
stained glass window. Photos of the window and frame are helpful.
To bring your stained glass window back in the best condition, please bring a wooden
board a little larger than your stained glass window for transport.

5 people minimum, 7 maximum.

Practical 6 hours of lessons/day but possibility of using the workshop for longer.
Bring work clothes, swimwear for the river if you wish.

Around 5 hours from Paris, 3 hours from Bordeaux and 2 hours from Toulouse.
Arrival on Sunday evening between 6 and 7 p.m. Departure on Saturday
evening or the following Sunday morning if you live far away.
Room alone or for 2 depending on the number of participants (sheets and 1 towel
provided).
Lunch will be home cooking with local produce or from our vegetable garden.
Please let us know if you have a specific diet. In the evening participants
share in making the meal, and or trips to local restaurants ...
If you bring a specialty of your choice will be welcome and shared among all.
Insurance: participants must insure their own stay if they wish. Leo Amery
cannot be held responsable for damage or loss of belongings, illnesses or
accidents.

I studied stained glass art at the Central School of Art and Design in London
My career and was a teacher at the Inner London Education Authority for several years. I
opened my workshop in France more than 30 years ago where I have a gallery.
I work on commission for private and public buildings, for exhibition and I do
some restoration.
