X. 'POSER LE QUESTION’ OR ASKING A QUESTION IN FRENCH :-

There are 3 ways of asking questions in French :

For eg : You would want to ask “ Did you eat ?” to your boss ..

1. Vous mangez ?

2. Est-ce que vous mangez ?

3. Mangez-vous ?

Of the three , the one in the middle is the formal and most appropriate way of asking a
question. The other two are informal in style.
