VOCABULAIRE – TROP ET ASSEZ

Trop means « too much » and Assez means « quite » or « enough ».

trop + adjectif

assez + adjectif

They can be used in the affirmative or negative forms.

Examples :

It is a major past tense and is used to talk about a completed action in the past:

Formation:

The passé composé is formed of 2 parts

Auxiliary verb (Part 1) + past participle (Part 2)

Part 1: The auxiliary verb is the conjugated form of Avoir or Etre. In this lesson, we will
focus on the verbs formed with Avoir as the auxiliary verb. Can you spot the auxiliary on the
3 examples above?
