Bonne Maestria!

Foreword
It is with humility that I place at the disposal of all flautists this series of four collections of information and technical and melodic
exercises, much of which is original and personal. My passion for the flute as well as my involvement in the teaching of the transverse
flute allowed me to explore our instrument as well as the paths to follow to transmit this knowledge and this know-how to students of all
levels. My goal in writing this three-volume work has been to bring together enough tips, suggestions, scales and varied exercises to
enable the flautist of all levels to progress to virtuosity, if that is his goal.
Maestria, I am sure, will allow the beginner, intermediate and advanced flautist to progress as quickly as they want.

The top number indicates how much beat is in a measure. In these examples there are 3. There
can also be 6, 9 and even 12 as we will see later.
The lower number indicates which value is 1 beat, in this case the eighth note.

notes at the beginning. It's the 4-5-6 of the bar before the first bar.
