Le comité d’organisation des Journées Internationales.
d’Ophtalmologie Pratique (JIOP) a le plaisir de vous convier à leur 9
ème édition des JIOP qui se tiendra le 26 et 27 Mai 2023 à hôtel
Farah de Casablanca.

Cette année le congrès aura pour thème la surface oculaire, avec une
approche globale et complète du sujet, comprenant des nouveautés
diagnostiques et thérapeutiques.

Le bureau des JIOP remercie Dr Sihem Lazreg pour sa

collaboration et sa grande contribution à l'organisation de cette
édition exceptionnelle.

Comme à l’accoutumée des ateliers pratiques seront présentés par

des experts dans leurs domaines, avec également une session de
chirurgie en direct traitant des cas simples et complexes de la
chirurgie ophtalmologique.

La famille des JIOP m’a accordé l’honneur , le plaisir et la responsabi-
lité de coordonner avec eux le programme scientifique de cette
9 éme édition des JIOP, un congrès très spécial cette année
totalement , dédié à la surface oculaire.
Je les remercie et à leur tête le docteur Zidi Mohamed de m’avoir
accordé cet immense honneur d’inviter des amis confrères experts
des quatre coins du monde.

Nous avons réussi à réunir un panel exceptionnel hautement

spécialisé en surface oculaire, qui va partager son expertise en toute
convivialité sur le podium des JIOP les 26 et 27 Mai prochains.

Nous espérons au cours de ce bel événement conjuguer la science

à l’amitié et partager nos connaissances et notre passion pour
l’ophtalmologie en général et à la surface oculaire en particulier.

la prolifération vitréo-retinienne, la dégénérescence maculaire de

Dr Heykel Kamoun
Specialist in ophthalmology, he dedicates himself essentially to the
surgery of the anterior segment of the eye : cataract, corneal
transplant, refractive surgery and Keratoconus .
Head of the Cornea and Refractive Surgery Department at the
international Ophthalmology Clinic, in Tunis, Tunisia since 2006.

Dr Pooja Khamar
Dr Pooja Khamar is currently a consultant and lead trainer in Cata-
ract, Clinical and Translational Scientist and Refractive services at
Narayana Nethrala Eye Institute.
Her areas of work include decoding topography and biomechanics
and making it easy for clinicians to use in practic at the best of its
capacity, Wound healing in Refractive Surgery, Customised lasers for
Refractive Surgery and Keratoconus .
Gene therapy for Corneal Ectasia and Keratoconus, Newer therapeu-
tics in Corneal Scar Management,
Immune profiling in keratoconus.

Dr Sihem Lazreg
Dr Sihem Lazreg currently owns and manages a private practice
focused on treating ocular surface disease in adults and children in
Algeria, and served as an Associate Professor at the University Hospi-
tal Mustapha Bacha of Algiers through 2008 .
She specializes in pediatric ophthalmology and ocular surface
diseases. She is the leader on ocular surface in north Africa and
middle east.
Dr. Lazreg is a scientific coordinator in the Algerian ophthalmologic
society, and in the JRO meeting and she is member of many African ,
European, Asian and American ophthalmologic societies, she is a
member and MENA region ambassador of TFOS DEWS2.
She is member of the executive board of the French society of oph-
thalmology; EPOMEC, JIOP and JRO.
