Je vous pale de notre promenade, moi avec ma femme et mes deux adorés enfants

Le week end passé nous avons visité la ville de Douarnenez, comme on l’appelle, la ville aux
trois ports.

la jolie ville de Douarnenez dans le Finistère compte, pas moins de trois ports : le Rosmeur,
le Port-Rhu et Tréboul. On est Parti à la découverte de son atmosphère particulière et
unique, de ses ruelles, ses ateliers et maisons de pêcheurs, et, bien sûr, nous avons
gouté son incontournable gâteau kouign amann !

On a parcouru la vieille ville et ses venelles.

Sur le de port- Rhu ; on a vu la mystérieuse Ile Tristan,

On a visité son site naturel des Plomarc'h, village aux maisons traditionnelles bretonnes,
situé à quelques pas du port du Rosmeur. Il renferme un des plus importants sites
archéologiques industriels gallo-romains du nord de l'Europe par sa production de garum,
sauce à base de sardines et d'aromates vendue très chère dans toute la Gaule, il y a 2000
ans...

On a également apprécié la balade dans la ferme ou y’avait des animaux et un espace de

jeux pour enfant.

Une des plus belles baies d'Europe

On est époustouflé par les paysages de la baie de douarnenez. On a marché au long de cette
baie jusqu’à la Plage des Sables Blancs.

On a visité Le port musée qui propose un musée à terre et un musée à flot dédiés au

patrimoine maritime. Rénové en 2006, le musée à terre vous fait découvrir les sociétés et les
cultures maritimes. Au musée à flot, cinq bateaux sont ouverts à la visite et vous invitent à
découvrir la vie des équipages en parcourant les bateaux de la cale à la timonerie.

Ville animée et festive, on a passé une belle journée, ma femme et mes enfants ont bien
aimé la ville, on compte de retourner dans les jours avenir.

Last weekend we visited the city of Douarnenez, as it is called, the

city of three ports.

the pretty town of Douarnenez in Finistere has no less than three

ports: Rosmeur, Port-Rhu and Tréboul port. We went to discover its
special and unique atmosphere, its alleys, its workshops and
fishermen's houses, and, of course, we tasted its unmissable kouign
amann cake!
We walked through the old town and its alleys.
On the Port-Rhu; we saw the mysterious the island Tristan,
We visited its natural site of Plomarc'h, a village with traditional
Breton houses, located a few steps from the port of Rosmeur. It
contains one of the most important Gallo-Roman industrial
archaeological sites in northern Europe for its production of garum, a
sauce made from sardines and herbs sold at high prices throughout
Gaul 2000 years ago...
We also enjoyed the walk in the farm where there were animals and
a play area for children.
One of the most beautiful bays in Europe
We are amazed by the landscapes of the bay of douarnenez. We
walked along this bay to the White Sands Beach.

We visited The port museum which offers a museum on land and a

museum afloat dedicated to maritime heritage. Renovated in 2006,
the onshore museum introduces you to maritime societies and
cultures. At the museum afloat, five boats are open to visitors and
invite you to discover the life of the crews by browsing the boats
from the hold to the wheelhouse.
we had a great day, we really liked the city, we plan to return in the
future.
