1. Définition
Le SAT MODBUS est une interface de communication permettant d’échanger des informations (configuration,
contrôle, collecte de données, …) avec une régulation TAC (TAC4/TAC5/TAC6). Le protocole de communication
utilisé est le MODBUS RTU. Pour des instructions plus détaillées de fonctions et d’utilisations, se référer à la
documentation : « MI Regulation TAC5 + MODBUS RTU» ou "MI regulation TAC6 + MODBUS RTU" , selon le
type de contrôleur.
2. Installation
Il suffit d’enficher le SAT MODBUS sur le connecteur du circuit CB TAC (position: voir photos annexe 1).
Attention: le SAT MODBUS doit être enfiché lorsque le circuit CB TAC est hors tension. Un mauvais
positionnement peut endommager de manière définitive les deux circuits !
3. Raccordement
Les bornes du SAT MODBUS doivent être raccordées comme indiqué sur le schéma repris en annexe 2.
Type de câble recommandé: torsadé par paire et blindé (FTP) catégorie 5. Section de 0,26 … 0,50 mm². Utiliser
une paire pour connecter B- et A+. Longueur maximale du câble de raccordement: 1000m.

1. Beschrijving
De SAT MODBUS is een communicatie interface die het mogelijk maakt om informatie uit te wisselen met een
TAC (TAC4/TAC5/TAC6) besturing (configuratie, controle, verzamelen van gegevens,…).
Als communicatieprotocol wordt MODBUS RTU gebruikt.
Voor meer gedetailleerde informatie betreffende de werking en het gebruik kan u de documentatie “MI Regulation
TAC5 + Modbus RTU” of "MI regulation TAC6 + MODBUS RTU" raadplegen, afhankelijk van het type controller.
2. Installatie
De SAT MODBUS wordt geklikt op de daartoe voorziene connector op het CB TAC circuit (zie foto 1 in bijlage)
OPGELET!: de SAT MODBUS niet aansluiten als het CB TAC circuit onder spanning staat. Het verkeerd
plaatsen van de SAT MODBUS kan permanente schade toebrengen aan beide circuits!
3. Aansluiting
De klemmen van de SAT MODBUS moeten aangesloten worden zoals weergegeven in het schema in bijlage 2.
Aanbevolen kabeltype: per paar getwiste en afgeschermde kabel (FTP) categorie 5. Sectie van 0,26 … 0,50mm².
Gebruik 1 paar om B- en A+ te verbinden. Maximaal lengte = 1000m.

1. Scope
The SAT MODBUS component is a communication interface with a TAC control board (TAC4/TAC5/TAC6)
allowing exchange of information (setup and actual datas,…). The communication protocol used is MODBUS
RTU.
For more detailed instructions on the operation and use, refer to the "MI regulation TAC5 + MODBUS RTU" or "MI
regulation TAC6 + MODBUS RTU" document, according to the controller type.
2. Installation
The SAT MODBUS has to be plugged in the connector of the CB TAC circuit (see picture in annex1). Be careful
not to plug the SAT MODBUS when the CB TAC is powered. Not setting the device properly could seriously
damage both circuits!
3. Wiring
The terminals of the SAT MODBUS must be wired as indicated in schematic shown in appendix 2.
Wire specifications : armoured twisted pair (FTP) category 5. Section 0,26 … 0,50 mm². Use wires of same pair to
connect B- and A+. Maximal cable length = 1000m.

1. Beschreibung
Der SAT MODBUS ist eine Kommunikationsschnittstelle, die es erlaubt, Informationen (Konfiguration, Kontrolle,
Datensammlung…) mit ein Regulierung TAC auszutauschen (TAC4/TAC5/TAC6). Das benutzte
Kommunikationsprotokoll ist MODBUS RTU.
Für weitere detaillierte Anweisungen für den Betrieb und die Nutzung, verweisen nach
der Dokumentation "Installations und bedienungsanleitung “MI Regulation TAC5 + MODBUS RTU“ oder "MI
regulation TAC6 + MODBUS RTU", abhängig von der Art der Steuerung.
2. Installation
Der SAT MODBUS wird auf die entsprechenden Kontakte der Kontrollbox CB TAC aufgesteckt (siehe Bild im
Anhang 1).
Achtung: SAT MODBUS nicht aufstecken, wenn die Kontrollbox CB TAC an die Stromversorgung angeschlossen
ist ! Eine ungleiche Kontaktierung beim aufstecken kann die zwei Buskreise zerstören.
3. Verdrahtung
Die Klemmen des SAT MODBUS müssen entsprechend den Angaben im Anhang 2 verdrahtet werden..
Drahtspezifikation: abgeschirmte und verdrillte Leitungen (FTP) Kategorie 5. Querschnitt 0,26 … 0,50 mm².
Verwende Leitungen des gleichen Paares, um B- und A+ miteinander zu verbinden. Maximale Kabellänge:
1000m.

EN-Electronic boards contains ESD sensitive components. Wear antistatic wrist strap connected to protective earth before to manipulate them. In alternative, discharge
by touching the unit, handle boards at corners only and use antistatic gloves. FR-Les cartes électroniques contiennent des composants sensibles aux décharges
électrostatiques. Portez un bracelet antistatique connecté à la terre de protection avant de les manipuler. Sinon, décharger en touchant l'unité, manipuler
les platines dans les coins uniquement et utilisez des gants antistatiques. NL- Elektronische borden bevatten ESD-gevoelige componenten. Draag een
antistatische polsband die op een aardingsbeveiliging is aangesloten voordat manipuleren. Als alternatief, ontladen door het apparaat aan te raken, alleen
planken op hoeken vastpakken en antistatische handschoenen gebruiken. DE- Elektronische Karten enthalten ESD-empfindliche Komponenten. Tragen
Sie vorher ein antistatisches Armband, das mit der Schutzerde verbunden ist, um sie zu manipulieren. Alternativ können Sie das Gerät durch Berühren
entladen, die Bretter nur an den Ecken anfassen und antistatische Handschuhe verwenden.
