 Introduction
Introduction

Nos logotypes sont les premiers vecteurs de notre identité visuelle. Le respect de leurs constantes graphiques
et de leurs proportions assure à nos marques reconnaissance et lisibilité.

En effet, à l’occasion d’opérations de parrainage sportif (Rallye, Formule 1, Moto, Endurance, Rallye-Raid, …)
nos logotypes cohabiteront avec d’autres pouvant perturber leur lisibilité et émergence.

Cette charte a été conçue spécialement pour garantir aux marques du Groupe une présence et une visibilité
optimales dans le cadre des opérations de sports mécaniques.

Ellle doit être utilisée pour l’identification des supports de sports mécaniques, et dans le cadre d’opérations
événementielles liées. Elle ne se substitue en aucun cas aux autres chartes graphiques du Groupe,
qui répondent à d’autres applications.

Les grands principes d’identification sont présentés dans cette charte. Toutefois, l’utilisation
des logotypes TOTAL et ELF pour la réalisation d’éléments graphiques composites ou associés
doit être obligatoirement soumise à l’approbation de la direction Compétition, qui se tient
à votre disposition pour vous conseiller.

Our logotypes are the prime vectors of our visual identity. Compliance with their graphic constants
and proportions ensure that our brands are recognisable and legible.

When we are involved in sports sponsorships (Rally, Formula 1, Motorbike racing, Endurance, Raid Rallies, etc.)
our logotypes will be used alongside other brands that could affect their legibility and visibility.

These guidelines have been specially designed to ensure that the Group’s brands enjoy optimal presence
and visibility during motor sports operations.

They must be used to identify motor sport equipment and for all related event operations. In no case
do they replace the Group’s other visual identity guidelines, which were designed for other specific
applications.

The main principles of identification are presented in these guidelines. However, use of the TOTAL
and ELF logotypes in composite or associated graphic elements must imperatively be submitted
for approval to the Motosport Division, which you may contact for advice or assistance.

Le logo “TOTAL Sport Composite” est le seul élément graphique utilisé pour le marquage des tenues
des équipes partenaires (pilotes, direction de l’écurie, mécaniciens), ainsi que pour la signalétique terrain
et les éléments de communication.
The “TOTAL Sport Composite” logo is the only graphic element used on partner teams’ clothing (drivers,
team management, mechanics), for ground signage and communication elements.

Le logo “TOTAL Sport” est exclusivement utilisé pour le marquage des véhicules de course. Il assure
une lisibilité optimum pour un espace donné.
Ce logo est utilisé pour l’identification de tous les véhicules de compétition (auto, moto et camion)
toutes disciplines confondues.
The “TOTAL Sport” logo is used exclusively on race vehicles. It ensures optimum legibility for a given space.
This logo is used to identify all competition vehicles (cars, motorbikes and trucks) whatever the race
category.

Ce sont ces deux versions qui sont utilisées dans les partenariats avec les grands constructeurs.
These two versions are used for partnerships with major automakers.

Coulour codes

Les couleurs des logos “TOTAL Sport Composite” et “TOTAL Sport” sont normalisées. Elles ne peuvent
être modifiées en aucun cas. En fonction des supports, elles seront appliquées en Pantone,
en quadrichromie, en peinture, en teinte de fil, ou en adhésif teinté masse.
The “TOTAL Sport Composite” and “TOTAL Sport” logo colours are standardised. In no case should they
be modified. Depending on the material, the logo colours should be applied in Pantone, four-colour process,

Seul cas particulier, sur fond rouge, le logo “TOTAL Sport Composite” sera délimité par un filet contour blanc

Dans le cadre spécifique de la signalétique terrain, les proportions du logo sont adaptées homothétiquement
selon le support, pour optimiser la lisibilité sur les formats très allongés.

so as to optimise legibility on stretched formats.
