5. Grammar
- Quoi :
C’est quoi ? and Qu'est-ce que c'est ? are two ways to ask the same question. It is
usefull when the name of an object is not known. The form is kept singular as the object in
answer is unknown.
- Quel / Quelle + noun : "quel" cannot be used alone. It needs a noun to follow.
About nationality :
- as adjectives, nationality is always specified after a noun. Gender and plural apply :
- as nouns :
personn : nationality has a capital letter. Gender and plural apply :
le français, l’anglais
