ASPAVELI® Indication :

ECONOMIC OPINION
ASPAVELI® Indication :
In the treatment of paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH) in adult anemic patients
Pegcetacoplan after treatment with a C5 complement inhibitor for at least 3 months, only if the
CEESP of the 10th May 2022 hemoglobin level is < 10.5 g/dl.
Conclusion
• The efficiency of ASPAVELI® is not demonstrated due to the two major concerns regarding the utility data and the
exploration of uncertainty.
• The efficiency analysis conducted concerns only 51% of the population of the MA indication.
• PNH significantly impairs patients' QoL and the objective of ASPAVELI® is to improve QoL. Thus, in a context where no
impact on mortality has been modeled, a robust estimation of utility scores is essential.
