PRODUCTS:
All product properties and technical features are subjected to quality control in terms of the INTERNAL S.Q. Certificate held
by Edilizia Servizi srl. Edilizia Servizi srl reserves the right to modify products and their packaging without the obli-
gation of prior notice.
PRICES:
The prices applicable are those ruling at the time that goods are delivered. Prices exclude Value Added Tax.
CONDITIONS OF DELIVERY:
The prices are ex Modena warehouse or ex Sassuolo ceramic industrial area. In case that Edilizia Servizi srl organizes the
transport to destination the corresponding freight is added to the invoice. Packing is free of charges.
DELIVERY:
Terms of delivery, for goods available from stock, are 5 (five) days from date of order. Goods are consigned at customer’s
risk, expect for the responsibility of the carriage contractor in terms of section no. 1693 of the Italian Civil Code.
RETURNS:
Returned goods are not accepted unless previously agreed. In all cases, the back freight is for the customer’s account.
DISPUTES:
Claims regarding product quality are not accepted after eight days from delivery. Anomalies found after the laying of pro-
ducts do not give rise to any right of compensation, except for product substitution with prior authorisation by Edilizia Servizi
srl.
LEGAL JURISDICTION:
The Modena Law Court shall have sole jurisdiction in case of any dispute arising.
This catalogue cancels and substitutes previous catalogues, the date of issue can be checked with the Commercial Office
of Edilizia Service srl.

• Prepare a layer of non-shrink mortar with high compression resistance, about 10 cm. wide,
taking account of the fact that, once laid, the profile should be exactly flush with the finished
floor.
• Fit the aluminium profiles using expansion plugs and sealing strips as spacers between the
profiles. First fit the bar ends using the outer holes, and then continue, fitting 7 plugs per metre
(1 every 30 cm.), as well ensuring that the outer holes in the aluminium profile are used.
• Always commencing from an end of the profile position the seal and insert it in the slots pro-
vided (which must be free of any impurity or residue from the previous stage) by pressing it
down by means of a cylindrical body (i. e. a roll) sliding it from one end to the other and back.
If it proves difficult to insert the seal, lubricate it with soapy water. The use of a hammer is not
recommended as this could damage the aluminium profile and consequently the setting-in of
the seal itself.
• When the strips have been fitted, protect the upper surface of the profile with the tape sup-
plied.
• Whilst laying ceramic tiles or natural stones apply a silicon seal, about 4/5 mm. wide, on
both sides of the profile.

• Positionner la partie souple centrale (en partant toujours depuis l’extrémité du profilé) et l’in-
sérer à l’intérieur des parties prévues à cet effet (celles-ci doivent préalablement être débar-
rassée de toutes impuretés) en utilisant un rouleau d’un côté puis de l’autre. Dans le cas ou
cette insertion serait difficile, lubrifier avec de l’eau savonneuse. Il est déconseillé d’utiliser un
marteau afin d’éviter toute rupture du profilé et percement de la partie souple.
• Quand la pose est terminée, protéger la partie supérieure du profilé avec l’adhésif fourni.
• Durant la mise en oeuvre du carrelage ou de la pierre naturelle sceller le profilé avec du sili-
cone de part et d’autre du profilé (environ 4 à 5 mm de large).

• Prepare a layer of non-shrink mortar with high compression resistance, about 10 cm. wide, ta-
king account of the fact that, once laid, the profile should be exactly flush with the finished floor.
• Fit the aluminium profiles using resin expansion plugs (or mechanical ones, as required by the
joint type). First fit the bar ends at the outer holes, and then continue, fitting 7 plugs per metre (1
every 30 cm.), as well ensuring that the outer holes in the aluminium rail are used (see below
diagram).
• The joint is supplied pre-fitted with steel clamps that maintain the correct joint dimension, which
should only be removed after positioning and when the joint is attached to the substrate. The
connection between the bars is obtained by sliding the profiles one into the other.
• Whilst laying ceramic tiles or natural stones apply a silicon seal, about 4/5 mm. wide, on both
sides of the profile.

• Make sure that the joint is wide enough to cover the width of the existing opening; that is, that the
aluminum molding rests properly on the surface of the finished pavement and on the paving (the two
sections of the joint must rest on the two surrounding surfaces).
• Make sure that the surface on which the joint is placed is perfectly flat regardless of the finishing on
the pavement.
• Make sure that the surface of the opening is free to receive the housing for the aluminum molding.
• Lay the aluminum moldings and connect them together using sections of gasket with a length of
approx. 34 cm. Use around 4 sections per bar.
• Mechanically fasten the ends of the moldings to the paving, and now fasten the bar completely.
• Remove the pieces of gasket and immediately insert full-length sections of gasket.

• Prepare, on each side of the joint, a strip of mortar without set back of 10 cm wide, having a strong
compression resistance. Calculate the mortar’s height once the profile is set to be able to have it
levelled with the finished floor (away of avoiding level differences which could create bumps for the
traffic and damage the tiling or the floor covers)
• Set the profile with the fixing elements on the already prepared wings, while controlling that the in-
sert doesn’t overflow (respect of the opening) and that the profile be perfectly set against each side.
• Set the profile by chemical seal (resin anchorage) with threaded pins or by using metallic pegs. Fix
the pins to the ends and do the setting of the profile using 7 pegs per meter (one every 30 cm), set
on each side not facing each other.
• Insert the WOLFIN IB membrane in omega shape (Ω) inside the joint leaving the wings go over 10 or
15 cm towards the two sides of the profile. In a few cases where it’s necessary to have a vulcanised
connection in between the WOLFIN IB membrane, hot air is used instead of a flame.
• Insert the black coloured rubber all along the profile.
• Set the steal angles pre-drilled and use the flat head screws to fix these same angles through holes
and then adjust the lot.
• Mix the WOLFIN IB membrane with the tight- proof membrane type SBS which comes sandwiched
on the top of the first one. For this operation, set the first layer and heat it with a flame (only on the
SBS membrane), verifying that the WOLFIN membrane sticks to the SBS membrane (if this operation
presents difficulties, use liquid asphalt or hot asphalt to increase grip). Then repeat the same ope-
ration with the second layer of the SBS membrane on the WOLFIN IB membrane, all taking care of
not usingthe flame directly on the WOLFIN IB membrane.

que l’insert ne dépasse pas (respect de l’ouverture) et que le profil soit parfaitement appuyé des
deux cotés.
• Fixer le profilé par scellement chimique (ancrage en résine) avec des tiges filetées ou bien en utilisant
de chevilles mécaniques en acier. Fixer les tiges aux extrémités puis effectuer la fixation de la barre
en utilisant 7 chevilles par mètre (une tous les 30 cm), posées en quinconce de part et d’autre du
profilé.
• Introduire la membrane WOLFIN IB en forme de omega (Ω) à l’interieur du joint en laissant les ailes
ressortir de 10 à 15 cm par rapport aux deux cotés du profil. Dans certain cas ou il est nécessaire
d’effectuer un raccordement vulcanisé entre la membrane WOLFIN IB il faut utiliser de l’air chaud
et non une flamme.
• Introduire la gomme de couleur noire tout le long du profil.
• Positionner les angles en acier inox pré percés et utiliser les vis à tête plate afin de fixer ces mêmes
angles au travers des trous et afin d’effectuer l’ajustement.
• Lier la membrane WOLFIN IB avec la membrane étanche type SBS qui vient en sandwich sur la
première. Pour cela positionner la première couche et la chauffer avec une flamme (seulement sur
la membrane SBS) et en vérifiant que la membrane WOLFIN IB adhère bien à la membrane SBS
(si cette opération pose des difficultés, utiliser de l’asphalte liquide ou de l’asphalte chaud pour au-
gmenter l’adhérence). Ensuite effectuer la même opération avec la seconde couche de membrane
SBS sur la membrane WOLFIN IB tout en prenant garde de ne pas utiliser la flamme directement
sur la membrane WOLFIN IB.

• JOINTS UNDER PLASTER
Prepare a layer of mortar, 60/70 mm wide, to support the drilled mounting wings of the joint (if the
depth of the plaster exceeds that of the profile that difference can be provided for by increasing the
mortar depth). Fit the profile to the wall with screw plugs (1 every 30 cm) through the outermost holes
in the profile. Leave a slit of about 5 mm (to be subsequently filled with silicon) to connect the profile.
Protect the seal while mounting the profile and spreading the plaster.
• JOINTS OVER PLASTER
Position the aluminium profiles so that they sit perfectly (ensure that the mounting surface is perfectly flat
and free from impurities). Fit the joint with screw plugs (1 every 30 cm.) through the wings of the alu-
minium profiles. Leave a slit of about 5 mm (to be subsequently filled with silicon) to connect the profile.
• JOINTS SOUS ENDUIT.
