Basic French Sentence Structure 

English word order in a sentence is Subject + Verb + Object (SVO)

I eat apples.

In French, the word order is the same. 

Je mange des pommes. 
 Je = I
Tu = You
Il/Elle = He/she
Les pronoms Nous = We
sujets
Vous = You/ you all
Ils/ Elles = They

3 facts about French adjectives:

1) Most French adjectives are placed AFTER the noun they describe.

2) Except BANGS adjectives (we will talk about these in the next slide).

3) French adjectives change depending on the number and gender of the noun

they describe.
