C’est le présent en anglais. Tu l’utilises quand tu parles de tes habitudes, de ce que tu aimes.
C’est un temps très simple à conjuguer.

Pour conjuguer un verbe, c’est très simple. Il faut savoir qu’un infinitif commence
toujours par « to » en anglais. (ex : to read = lire). Il suffit de retirer le to pour chaque

 pronom et ils sont conjugués. La seule exception est la troisième personne du singulier
« She/He/It = Elle/Il/Ca », à la 3ème personne, on rajoute toujours un -s à la fin du verbe.

 Pour les verbes se terminant par :

- -O : on ajoute la terminaison -ES à la troisième personne du singulier

- consonne + -Y : le Y se transforme en I et on ajoute la terminaison -ES
- -CH ou -X ou -SH : on ajoute également la terminaison -ES à la troisième
personne du singulier.

Exemple :

  Chose assez spéciale à propos du « Present Simple »

Quand on veut faire une phrase interrogative ou négative, il y a un petit verbe qui se rajoute à
la phrase : « to do ». C’est lui qui indique si on met la phrase de manière « négative » ou
« interrogative », c’est lui qui est conjugué quand c’est une interrogation ou une négation.

Ex: Do you have a pen? = Est-ce que tu as un stylo à billes ?

Does she have a book? = Est-ce qu’elle a un livre ?
