“Individual students’ presentations.
The objective of the final individual presentation is to allow each student to present his or
her theoretical perspectives on organizations that he or she will use for his or her
research work (research paper or doctoral research project). Each presentation must
clearly and concisely explain the angle of research chosen, the unit of analysis
chosen, and the type of problematic sought. The quality of the work will be evaluated
according to these criteria.”
(2) how this theory deals with organizations (“the perspective”); and
As an example,
(3) I focused on foreign entry mode choices and explored how 2 sources of uncertainty
(internal/external) differently impacted the make or buy trade-offs (when I did my thesis,
the distinction was unclear).
The main and final goal of this day is not only to help each one in her/his own theoretical
work, but also to develop the critical thinking. It can be a very fruitful day if we all play the
game!
Last point: in order to respect the timetable, be connected by 8h50 in the morning; 12h40
in the afternoon.
