DAMAGE IN TRANSPORTATION
All packages should be closely examined at time of delivery. If damage is apparent write “Damage In
Shipment” on ALL copies of the freight or express bill BEFORE delivery is accepted or “signed for” by
a GE representative or hospital receiving agent. Whether noted or concealed, damage MUST be
reported to the carrier immediately upon discovery, or in any event, within 14 days after receipt, and the
contents and containers held for inspection by the carrier. A transportation company will not pay a claim
for damage if an inspection is not requested within this 14 day period.
The purchaser of GE equipment shall only utilize qualified personnel (i.e., GE’s field engineers,
personnel of third-party service companies with equivalent training, or licensed electricians) to perform
electrical servicing on the equipment.
GE Healthcare employees should contact the product's Lead Service Integrator (LSI) to report service
documentation issues. DO NOT use TrackWise for this purpose. The LSI will then use the internal
problem reporting tool to communicate these issues to the writer.

This manual describes the software installation manual for LOGIQ P9/P7 R2/R2.5.
This manual does not cover operations such as obtaining key codes from OKOS system.

General Description
Not all features or products described in this document may be available or cleared for sale in all
markets.
Software Options
Displays the needle's position in real-time graphics that are overlaid on the
Pinpoint GT image of the scan plane. The trajectory can then be monitored as it progresses
toward the target.
NOTICE The illustration in this manual shows the status of a temporary option, like those generated for Demos.
Make sure that the options purchased by the customer show status: “Permanent”.

Chapter 2
Working with Option Key
READ and UNDERSTAND these instructions thoroughly before proceeding with the installation.
Perform each step in sequence and check it off when completed. If a problem occurs after completion,
go back through the procedures and check for implementation errors before contacting your Ultrasound
Region Engineer.
Section 2-1
Accessing Option Key
1.) Turn system power ON.
2.) From the touch panel, select "Utility"->"Admin".
3.) When prompted with Title Login dialog, select "ADM" as operator and enter appropriate Password.

Verifying Installed Option Key
1.) Examine text under "Installed Option Keys".
Section 2-3
Adding Option
1.) Enter option key from OKOS in SW Option Key section.
Section 2-4
Verifying Available Option
1.) Examine an option list on the right pane.
