forwards. If the forward/reverse control is turned to the left, the machine moves backwards.
The speed reduction lever can be used for reducing the forwards speed precisely and
infinitely.
If you push in the lever, the speed is reduced infinitely.
Note
This is used in particular for all work at slow speeds, e. g. when used as snow thrower.
The speed can be reduced maximum to half of the original speed. It works only when driving
forwards.
The machine can be secured against rolling away by means of the parking brake.
The machine is braked by actuating the lever.
The machine is either equipped with a dead man's lever or two electronic sensor handles.
The engine can be turned off using the dead man’s lever.

The steering mechanism is switched on and off when actuating the lever.
If the extra device (hay harvester, circular baling press) is connected to the steering
mechanism, the machine can be steered with the steering rod of the extra device. The
steering mechanism transmits the steering movements of the steering rod onto the
hydraulic steering of the basic machine so that the single-wheel steering levers need
not to be actuated.
Note
If you switch off the steering mechanism, it has a similar effect as when the differential lock
is actuated. This prevents spinning of the wheels.

The weights on the weight carrier are used for balancing the machine optimally and
increase the traction of the wheels.
Heavy extra devices increase the lifting force on the handlebar. Stacked weights on the
weight carrier can reduce the lifting force.
In case of 5 weights (1), they are directly mounted to the weight carrier (2) and clamped with
the star grip (3). In this case, the retaining spring (4) is not required and can be stored in the
tool box.
In case of less than 5 weights (1), either the position of the weight carrier plate (5) can be
changed so that the weights are placed directly onto the weight carrier, or the retaining
spring (4) is used as support for the weights. Then the weights are in top position. The
weights are clamped with the star grip (3).
Note
Maximum 5 stacked weights each of 8.5 kg are permitted on the weight carrier.
The weight carriers on the left and right of the axle are used for an increased traction of the
wheels.
