2. IMPERATIF
a. No subject and exclimatory mark at the end of the sentence and only conjugated
with TU , NOUS , VOUS
b. In ER ending verbes and aller , ouvrir and offrir , S is removed from the end with
TU form.
c. 4 exceptional cases in imperatif : ETRE , AVOIR , VOULOIR , SAVOIR

d. In pronominal verbes with impertive sentences :
Affirmative : pronoms and conjugations are inversed and TE changes to TOI.
Negative : no inversion and no change with TE.

Past of past
2 actions happened in past simultaneously 1st action will be PQP and 2nd will be PC.
7. FUTUR/FUTUR SIMPLE
Action will happen in futur but after a long duration or indefinite time.
8. FUTUR PROCHE
Subject + conjugation of Aller in present + infinitive form of the main verb + object
9. FUTUR ANTERIEUR
2 actions will happen in future , 1st action will be furtur anterieur and 2nd action will
be futur simple.
Subject + etre/avoir in futur simple + past participle of the main verb + object
Direct to Indirect
Subject and pronoms will change according to the requirement of the sentence.
Quotation marks will be removed.
1. Declarative sentence - Que/qu’
2. Interrogative sentence - qu’est-ce que/Que(as an adverb interrogative) - ce que ,
Qu’est-ce qui - ce qui , adverb interrogative + remove inversion , intonation/est-ce
que/inversion - Si
3. Imperative sentence - de + pronom (if any) + infinitive form of the main verb.
Indirect to Direct
Subject and pronoms will change according to the requirement of the sentence
Sentences will be written within quotation marks .
1. Delarative sentence - no Que/qu’ <<……>>
2. Interrogative sentence - remove ce que nd add que/qu’est ce que , remove ce qui
and add qu’est-ce qui , remove Si and write the question with intonation/est-ce
que/inversion , adverb interrogative with inversion.
3. Imperative sentence - remove De and write down the sentence in imperative form
with the subject given.

3. En quoi (in what) - Fabrique/metal/wood/steel
4. Pourquoi(why) - reason (because-parce que)
5. Combien de (how many) - quantity of objects
6. Combien (how much) - quantity of weight(peser) /cost(couter)
7. Qui(who) - person
8. Que/Qu’est ce que (what) - subject/things
9. A qui(to whom) - a+person
10. Est-ceque/inversion in negative - answers starts with SI.
11. Est-ce que/inversion in affirmtive - answers starts with OUI ou NON.
12. D’ou(from where) - de/d’ + place.
13. Quand(when) - time duration(day/month/year)
14. A quelle heure(at what time) - clock timings
15. Quel/quelle/quels/quelles(which) - nom/addresse/colour/prenom/objects.
