Olivia
Olivia
Olivia: In tears, holding her chin Maelys, it hurts so much! I think I'm
bleeding a lot.
Maelys: Calm down, Olivia. We'll call for help right away. Takes out
her phone Hello, firefighters? We're at the banquet hall, 57 Walton
Street, in Oxford. My friend Olivia fell, and she's bleeding a lot from
her chin. We need help quickly!
Maelys: Yes, she's breathing, but she's panicking. Her chin hurts a
lot.
Maelys: It's her, Olivia. She fell, and she's bleeding a lot from her
chin.
Mathis: Thank you for calling us. We'll take care of her.
Communicates via radio We have an 18-year-old woman, injured in
the chin, bleeding heavily.
Mathis: Okay, Olivia, we'll put you on a stretcher to take you to the
hospital. Can you stand, or do you have pain elsewhere?
Olivia: My chin hurts, but I think I can stand.
Firefighter Mathis and his colleague carefully help Olivia stand and
gently place her on a stretcher.
Mathis: Easy, don't force it. We'll strap you in to prevent any sudden
movements during transport.
Maelys: Olivia, it will be okay. The firefighters will take good care of
you.
The firefighters transport Olivia out of the banquet hall and carefully
place her in the ambulance.
Mathis: We'll take you to the hospital. Stay calm, Olivia. We're
watching over you.
Nurses Laurine and Sandy take over, continuing Olivia's care at the
hospital.
Laurine: Hello, Olivia, I'm Nurse Laurine, and this is Sandy. How are
you feeling?
Sandy: We'll take care of you, don't worry. Laurine, let's start with
first aid.
Sandy: It won't last, Olivia. Now, we'll assess the depth of the wound
to see if stitches are needed.
Sandy: There you go, Olivia. It's done. You should recover quickly,
but follow the instructions we'll give you to avoid any complications.
Laurine: We'll also provide you with advice for home care. Don't
hesitate to ask if you have any questions.
