1. PURPOSE
This technical document defines the cosmetic requirements for the acceptance of thermoplastic injection moulded parts
to meet cosmetic requirements for BOUYGUES 5330b product.

1.1. Documentation to use


In the case of conflicts on the technical solutions, the documents will have to be taken according to the preferably
order :
- Definition drawing
- These specification
- Other documents referred to the product definition document.

2. METHODOLOGY OF INSPECTION AND AREA DEFINITION

2.1. Inspection method


The part ischecked with a white light, from 500 to 1000 lux, under habitat or officeconditions.

The part is held with a distance from 40cm for all surfaces except for display area which has to be checked at 10cm.

The observation is done by looking vertically the surface and then by moving it from right to left and from top to bottom
with an angle of 45°.

The duration for the observation is of:


- 5s for surfaces lower or equal to 200cm2
- 10s for the surfaces upper than 200cm2

2.2. Surfaces inspection area and criteria

No polluting task is allowed on internal surfaces of the parts which are not visible by the enduser. The supplier will
undertake to reduce all the markfrom the mould, from handling, from grease, from oil, …
Surfaces : A : often visible surface during the product use or surface around the customer logo.
B :less visible surface during the product use of the product surfaces or surface of technical area.
C :none visible surface during the product use, surface considered less important or minor.

2.4. Casing assembly inspection area

β : usual assembly : less visible area during the product use and/or which didn’t allow a precise
assembly.

an imprecise assembly.

Front face :
- wifi button (αarea) : gap of 0.2 +/-0.1mm around the button
- Wifi Button (Ddimension) must not be too much in relief : 1 mm maximum between the top of the button and the
front surface
- usb(βarea) centered in its opening at +/- 0.3mm

Rear face of the product :


- Connector (jarea) :no specific requirement for the gap between the opening and the connector placement. The
connector have to go through their opening, and the opening itself in the bottom cover should have the required dimension.
- Reset button (γ  Area) : no specific requirement

Top and bottom cover gap (A6):


- Gap between top cover and cosmetic belt :
1 mm maxi on the 2 front corners
0.2 mm difference maxi between right and left corner

- No white point allows on all the marking (M2 area)

Rear face of the product :


- No White Points allows on all the marking (M1 area)
- (M1 area) all marking must be aligned : 0.3 mm maxi of difference on all the marking
