Bearing system
CME-FCB's NNA and NNB services operate 24/7. The working hours are the same in both
departments, namely divided into 03 shifts per day on the following sections:
a team that works from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
a team that works from 12:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
a team that works from 6 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
This rotation system is carried out between five teams, namely A, B, C, D, E. In the neonatology
departments, a team is made up of two staff in NNB and five teams of one-one staff in NNA. In
all these services the major and the coordinators are on duty. This shift system is the right system
to ensure good patient care by monitoring and administering care at agreed times.

Care planning
Care was provided in the emergency room based on the arrival of the child and his reaction to
first aid. When it happened that the children slept in the emergency room, care was planned
according to the time they received first aid
Care in the neonatology department took place at the following times: 9 a.m., 1 p.m., 5 p.m., 9
p.m., 1 a.m.

Daily activities of the emergency services, NNA and NNB

The CME emergencies are responsible for lifting the emergency, making a positive diagnosis
and referring to the various paediatrics depending on the problem for the continuity of care. For
example if there is administration of artesunate H0 at 8 a.m., H12 will be scheduled for 8 p.m.
The NNA receives premature newborns who are referred from emergencies to the neonatology
department A from where they are consulted and cared for.
The NNB receives eutrophic newborns who come for consultation by their relatives. In this
service, the newborn is consulted and care is started according to his needs.

Medical consumable supply system

The purchase of medical consumables could be made either at the Foundation's pharmacy or in
pharmacies outside the Foundation.
