• Dans cette optique Inglehart affirme que: « This, of course, does not imply that no change
occurs during adult year. In some individual cases, dramatic behavioral shift are known to occurs,
and the process of human development never comes to a complete stop » (Inglehart, 1997, pp.
132-133)

« This, of course, does not imply that no change occurs during adult year. In
some individual cases, dramatic behavioral shift are known to occurs, and the
process of human development never comes to a complete stop. Nevertheless,
human development seems to be far more rapid during preadult years than it
is afterward, and the great bulk of the evidence point to the conclusion that
the statistical likelihood of basic personality change declines sharply after one
reaches adulthood » (Inglehart, 1997, pp. 132-133)
