Negation
students While answering a question negatively,
subjects, verbs, adjectifs possessifs also
changes.
In french, simple negation is adding "ne" before the verb and "pas" after the verb.

Ex- Je suis- I am If question is in….. Then answer will be in…

Neg- Je ne suis pas - I am not subject subject
Je Je
Formules de negations- There are other forms of negation where the "pas" is replaced by a Tu Je

3. a) Tout le monde (Everyone) be written in the answer. The conjunction ‘et’ and ‘ou’
Quelqu'un (someone) Ne + verb + personne (noone) will also not be written.

Et/ ou------> will be removed
b) If 3a) comes at the beginning of the sentence Personne+ ne + verb

5. Quelque part (somewhere)
Partout (Everywhere) Ne+ verb + nulle part (no where) Eg.: Il a parlé à quelqu’un au téléphone.
Il n’a parlé à personne au téléphone.
6. Déjà (already) Ne + verb + pas encore (not yet)
7. Encore (still / again) Ne + verb + plus (no longer) Eg.: L’enfant a mangé le croissant et le sandwich.
L’enfant n’a mangé ni le croissant ni le
8. More than one noun in a sentence Ne+ ni + ___ +ni ____(neither/nor) sandwich.

Eg.: Il va réviser toutes les leçons ce soir.

Il ne va réviser aucune leçon ce soir.
