Notion de définitude :
En grammaire traditionnelle, l'article défini spécifie que le nom qui suit désigne une chose ou
une personne précises. L'article non-défini (ou indéfini) indique l'absence d'une spécification

Il apparaît que tout noyau nominal N [...] gouverné par THE est rendu indissociable de
l'antériorité opérationnelle évoquée par TH- et scellée par -E. Penser N revient à penser non
pas "N en soi" mais "N et son passé". Par l'entremise de THE, N est explicitement porteur
d'un "avant" hors duquel il ne saurait être conçu et, à plus forte raison, interprété. [...]
Il doit être clair que THE + N ne se contente pas de "reprendre" un nom, mais récapitule les
opérations antérieures de présentation/introduction/caractérisation, etc. dans lesquelles N a
été impliqué ou auxquelles sa présence dans le texte est liée ; opérations qu'il fait basculer ou
