Remarques • Il faut corriger rapidement toute hypertension et envisager de cesser et de renverser rapidement l’anticoagulation ou les antiplaquettaires.
• Suivre le diamètre du bras et de l’avant-bras pour juger du retrait des garrots supplémentaires et/ou du brassard pneumatique.
• Les garrots supplémentaires sont placés en ligne avec l’artère ponctionnée.
• Des cubes de glace sont placés dans un gant de toilette qui est ensuite appliqué sur la zone à traiter.
• Installer un saturomètre au pouce pour juger de la bonne perfusion du membre malgré la contention (saturation M 90%).
• Si l’on utilise un brassard pneumatique, mettre une pression = pression systolique - 20 mmHg et dégonfler toutes les 15 minutes.
• Au retrait des garrots, enrouler l’avant-bras et/ou le bras de bandes «velpeau» pour maintenir une pression positive modérée.
