Découverte et étymologie
L'apoptose (du grec : apo, « au loin » et ptosis, « chute ») a été mise
en évidence en 1972 par John Kerr, Andrew Wyllie et Alastair
Currie lors de l'étude de tissu par microscopie électronique[2].
